Commonwealth Dept of Family and Community Services This site provides full text publications on social policy and issues for housing, community support, disability services, child care services, and family issues. Links to related sites.
Regional Development Council The Regional Development Council is the peak advisory body to the West Australian Government on all regional development issues. The site provides good regional statistics and links to further information.
Community.gov.au The Community Portal provides access to online services and information for Australian community organisations and communities, linking to information and services provided by all levels of government and the non-government sector. Topics include community development, building social capital, sustainable communities, community networking, business, community partnerships and leadership.
Volunteering Western Australia Promotes volunteering and provides a focus for volunteering issues in Western Australia. Services include: the Volunteer Referral Service; information and consultancy; Retired and Senior Volunteers Program; Student Community Involvement Program; research and development of volunteer effort and management; Library Resource Centre; training and other resources. Free e-journals available online.
